How to activate your coverage

1. Open the app

Go to Wallet in the app menu and tap Reduce Deductible. Or tap directly on a vehicle on the map and select Reduce Deductible from there.

2. Turn on coverage

Tap Get Started, then confirm by tapping Pay. From that point on, you’re deductible is reduced on every ride.

3. Ride off

Nothing else to do: the €1 is automatically charged with each ride. You can turn off your coverage at any time, with no notice period, in the same place you activated it.

What happens in the event of damage?

With the reduced deductible activated, your out-of-pocket cost in a damage case drops to a maximum of €100. Without it, you’re liable for up to €350.

Do I need to reactivate it before every ride?

No. Once you’ve activated the reduced deductible, it applies automatically to every ride until you switch it off. You can switch it off anytime.

When does the €1 get charged?

It’s charged per ride, together with your normal ride cost. So you only pay when you actually ride.

How do I deactivate my coverage?

Any time, no notice required. Just go to Wallet in the app menu, tap Reduce Deductible, and hit Deactivate. Your coverage is turned off immediately.
