Conditions of participation

  1. Eligibility to participate

All natural persons aged 18 and over who are resident in Germany can take part.

  1. Submission

Each participant may submit several designs. The design must be self-created and must not infringe any third-party rights. Submissions that violate applicable law or our guidelines will be excluded from the competition.

  1. Copyright and rights of use

With the submission, the participant confirms that he/she owns all rights to the design. emmy receives the non-exclusive right to use the design in connection with the competition, in particular for the application on a moped, the presentation on the website and in social media.

  1. Selection of the winning design

The winning design will be selected by public voting. emmy reserves the right to exclude designs from the voting that violate the conditions of participation and design guidelines.

  1. Design guidelines

Submitted designs may not contain any content that:

  • represent political messages, symbols or campaigns;
  • contain racist, discriminatory or offensive elements;
  • depict religious symbols, people or buildings;
  • show sexual, pornographic or violent content;
  • use trademarks, logos or other protected elements of competitors or third parties.
  1. Printing and implementation

emmy is not obliged to print or implement the winning design. If the design violates internal guidelines or legal provisions, emmy reserves the right to select a different design or to refrain from implementing it.

  1. Liability

emmy is not liable for any damages resulting from participation in the competition. The participant indemnifies emmy against all third-party claims resulting from the use of the submitted design.

  1. Data protection

Personal data will only be used for the purposes of the competition and will not be passed on to third parties. Further information can be found in our privacy policy.

  1. Changes and termination of the competition

emmy reserves the right to change, interrupt or terminate the competition at any time if unforeseen circumstances make this necessary.
