FAQ

What is the minimum rental period for emmy mopeds?

You can rent a moped for a month and cancel anytime. If you cancel early, you can keep the moped until the end of the paid month. Plus, by opting for a longer subscription period, you can take advantage of even lower monthly rates, maximizing your savings over time.

What is included in the rental price per month?

With your emmy moped, you’ll get third-party liability insurance, one battery, one charger, and a phone holder. Maintenance is also included. You can also add optional extras, like premium protection, a delivery box, a warming blanket or a helmet.

Is this moped different from the shared emmy mopeds?

When you subscribe, the delivery moped is yours to use for that period – it’s like renting it long-term. You’ll receive a key and will be responsible for charging the moped. Since it’s yours to use, you can ride it at any time and park it outside our business area. Also, you have the extra option of an attached helmet box or delivery box to carry all your deliveries safely.

How do I open the moped?

You’ll get your own key to unlock the moped.

How far does one battery last?

On average, one battery lasts around 60 km. The moped is designed with two battery slots, allowing you to carry a spare. You can get an extra battery for a small fee, which will extend the range up to 120 km.

What happens if the moped needs repair?

If the moped needs repair, contact us. We will come to fix it on the street. If it can’t be fixed quickly, we will send a replacement moped.

What are the requirements to ride a moped with emmy?

You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license (Car class B or Motorcycle class AM, A1, A2, or A). Currently, this service is only available in Berlin.

Can I use the moped outside the emmy business area?

Yes, you can ride and park beyond our shared service business area.

How do I charge the batteries?

You will need to charge the batteries outside of the moped. When we hand over the moped to you, we will happily show you how to use the included battery charger.
