How can I reserve a scooter?
Select the scooter of your choice within the emmy app. A detail view should appear in the lower image frame of the button “Reserve scooters”. Tap the button to reserve your scooter for 15 minutes free of charge.
How to end the rent?
You end the rent by app. Please put everything back where it belongs – especially the RFID-Chip attached to the key needs to be in its holder. Then close the helmet box and lock it by using the button in the app which says “end reservation”.
How can I return a scooter?
Before you can return your scooter in the app, you have to:
- Place the chip on the keyring back in the key box.
- Put both helmets back in the helmet box.
- Close the helmet box tightly. Then, tap the button “Return scooter” in the scooter’s detail view.
- As soon as you hear the familiar click, you’ll know that the helmet box has been locked successfully and the scooter returned.
Am I allowed to leave the business area with my scooter?
As a general rule, you can take your scooter anywhere you want within the rental period, including outside the business area. But make sure that your scooter has enough juice to make it home. As a rule of thumb: 1% battery charge is enough for a distance of about 1 km.
Are the scooters tied to particular locations?
Nope! You can rent our scooters anytime, day or night, throughout our business area and return them wherever you want within this business area.
